My phone fell in water but seems fine. Should I still come in?
Yes, ideally. Corrosion is slow — phones often fail two or three weeks after the swim. A preventive internal inspection and clean now is far cheaper than a board repair later.
Does the rice trick work?
No. Rice dries the outside at best; the corrosion happens inside, under shields and connectors, where only opening and cleaning the board helps.
